Kellogg’s Limited Edition Jolly Rancher Pop-tarts from Skosay Product Review

On May 16th, 2017 the Skosay sample and rebate phone number 89000 sent me a text message and invited me to be the first to try the brand new Jolly Rancher Pop-tarts from Kellogg’s. If I was interested I could press a link in the text message which prompted me to sign in to my Skosay account, press the simply sample tab and click on the product or sample I was interested in. There was only one Kellogg’s Pop-tarts being offered and there was no designated flavor in the description. The 89000 Skosay mobile phone number sent me a text message the same day informing me Skosay received my request for a Kellogg’s Jolly Rancher Pop-tarts.

I check my Skosay account everyday to accept new products or samples. A few days after accepting one Kellogg’s Pop-tarts product I was offered two more Kellogg’s Pop-tarts on May 20th, 2017. This time the Kellogg’s Pop-tarts product I was offered had flavors in the description. I was offered a Kellogg’s Cherry Jolly Rancher Pop-tarts sample and a Kellogg’s Watermelon Jolly Rancher Pop-tarts sample. As before with the first Kellogg’s Pop-tarts Jolly Rancher sample I requested, Skosay’s 89000 mobile phone number sent me a text message confirming Skosay had received my request for the Kellogg’s Cherry Jolly Rancher Pop-tarts sample and the Kellogg’s Watermelon Jolly Rancher Pop-tarts sample and to look for other great samples on my simply sample dashboard.

I have received two of the three Kellogg’s Pop-tarts I was offered from Skosay. I looked on the Pop-tarts website and there is another limited edition flavor of these Jolly Rancher Pop-tarts. I was not offered the Kellogg’s Pop-tarts Jolly Rancher Green Apple flavor but I did receive the Kellogg’s Jolly Rancher Cherry and Watermelon flavored Pop-tarts from my Skosay simply sample dashboard. Prior to writing this blog post I tried the Kellogg’s Jolly Rancher Frosted Cherry Pop-tarts Skosay sent me and it was not good. The pastry was the same and very good but the Jolly Rancher Frosted Cherry flavor is not a product I will purchase. This product does not taste like a Cherry flavored Jolly Rancher. I love Jolly Ranchers. They are my favorite candies next to starbursts, skittles and gummie bears. The Kellogg’s Jolly Rancher Frosted Cherry Pop-tarts do not taste like Jolly Ranchers. I love Pop-tarts! I have been eating Pop-tarts my whole life! My favorite Kellogg’s Pop-tarts are S’mores and Strawberry. What I am about to discuss does not have anything to do with Kellogg’s Pop-tarts.

If you read my other blog posts pertaining to Skosay I mentioned I do not participate in rebate programs. I have only been a member of Skosay for two months and I would not recommend this free sample site. I am not going to cancel or deactivate my Skosay account but if this website never offered or sent me another sample that would be fine. I did eat the two Kellogg’s Pop-tarts I was sent with the hope that Skosay’s distribution personnel packaged these samples with gloves on. I was mortified the Kellogg’s Pop-tarts I received were taken out of the full size box! If you are familiar with Pop-tarts you know this grocery item comes in a 16 or 8 count box with two Pop-tarts in each package. What I received was completely unacceptable. I have been stepping out of my comfort zone trying to become a professional writer or blogger and I am having so much fun. The way these Pop-tarts were packaged from Skosay was disgusting only because it was a food item and I was unprepared having the knowledge that someone pulled these two packs of Pop-tarts from two full boxes.

I do not like the design on the cardboard boxes Skosay sent me in the mail. There are two postcards in each box. One has information similar to what you would find on the back of the full size box explaining calories, ingredients and the nutritional value of the food item. The other postcard informs consumers of the Kellogg’s Pop-tarts flavor and where you can possibly go to purchase this product if you are interested in buying Pop-tarts. It was interesting to see Skosay wrapped the Pop-tarts in bubble wrap. That was an interesting selection. The Kellogg’s Jolly Rancher Frosted Watermelon Pop-tarts I was sent from Skosay taste just like a Watermelon flavored Jolly Rancher! This Pop-tart was so good but keep in mind it is a pastry and not an everyday food item. I would definitely purchase Kellogg’s Jolly Rancher Frosted Watermelon Pop-tarts from my local Walmart while it is available for a limited time. I would not participate in the Skosay Simply Rebates program.

Prior to accepting the Kellogg’s Pop-tarts which is the third product or sample I have been offered from Skosay. I had accepted my second offer from Skosay which was a Nautica men’s cologne sample. Even though I did want the sample because I am interested in reviewing some male products such as shoes, clothes and cologne. I will update my readers and companies about some of the men products and samples I have received so far and my level of interest in receiving these type of items. I found it weird my Skosay account offered me male products. My profile on the website associated with my email states that I am a female. I was under the impression when you inform a company of your personal demographics such as gender and age they would send you products based around your profile. While I have yet to receive the men’s Nautica cologne sample I did receive a text message from the 89000 Skosay phone number informing me the perfect Father’s Day gift would be using the $5.00 Nautica Cologne rebate you can get when you purchase this product at Walmart and upload your receipt with the purchase information to Skosay’s Simply Rebates program. Skosay’s 89000 number directed me to my Skosay simply rebates dashboard. That was also weird because when I was mailed the Rimmel London product from Skosay I never received a text from Skosay’s 89000 number about the simply rebates program. I received a text message from Skosay asking me to answer a survey on my thoughts on the Rimmel London Waterproof Kohl Kajal Pencil Eyeliner I was sent which was wonderful!

Unfortunately the #DaisyVoxBox was sent to me uncovered. I know some of my readers may not understand where I’m coming from when I talk about receiving items improperly boxed. But first impressions are very important! The #DaisyVoxBox is very beautiful and it’s my personal opinion that this should have been sent to everyone in a more pristine condition. I can’t see why the #DaisyVoxBox was not inside a packing box. Aside from that, none of the items were broken or crushed so I have no other complaints.

If you are unable to view my twitter I know you are wondering what is inside the #DaisyVoxBox photographed above! I was very excited about a few products and I will let you know in upcoming blog posts. influenster sent me seven products to review: live clean Coconut Milk Moisturizing Shampoo, live clean Coconut Milk Moisturizing Conditioner, the new Yesto tomatoes Clear Skin detoxifying Charcoal Paper Mask, 3 Always Infinity with avec FlexFoam Pads with a $1.00 off coupon in case I would like to purchase this product after trying them! I also received a manufacturer’s coupon for a Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt, a box of SkinnyPop Sea Salt Microwave Popcorn and a 60 count of Nature’s Bounty Probiotic Gummies.

I did receive these products free for testing purposes from influenster and I am very excited to review the #DaisyVoxBox. Please comment below or email me if you have ever tried any of these products!

KIND Snacks from #kindawesome

Earlier this month I posted a tweet about KIND Bars and while I will not post a photo of these particular items. This product is very good. I just finished eating the Honey Roasted Nuts & Sea Salt Kind Bar for the first time. It is gluten free, has ingredients you can see and pronounce, has a low glycemic index, has no sugar alcohols and there are also no genetically engineered ingredients. KIND also sent me the Dark Chocolate Almond & Coconut KindBar as well, which seems to have the same nutritional value. Both packages recite: do the kind thing for your body, your taste buds & your world.

I received this package thanks to #kindawesome. #kindawesome is a program KIND created to celebrate kind acts everywhere. If you notice someone doing something kind, you can mail them a KindBar for free. This promotion seems to be for family and friends because you need an address or email. Along with KindBars you are also given a “Thanks for being #kindawesome” card. Presently this campaign does not have an end date and I was alerted there could only be one #kindawesome card per household. On the #kindawesome card it says to enjoy your KIND snack, and tell us your #kindawesome story on the company’s twitter.

To celebrate someone’s kind act. Send them a KindBar.

This is the way the KindBars were mailed to me. They were mailed to me unboxed and it was very upsetting. I can’t stress enough how easy it seems to send products and samples more neatly packaged. The #kindawesome campaign box is really beautiful and creative. I especially like the font used. It’s upsetting to think the marketing department doesn’t care or value a consumers opinion about their company’s product. It makes you wonder if the company cares about this product as much as you enjoy purchasing it.
